Monika Wiatrowska (say: Moh-nee-kah Vee-ah-trov-ska)

is a person who is an artist, writer, stylist, art director, model, pro dominatrix, and dj based in Montréal, Canada.

Her work revolves around sensing/sensuality, and their necessity to imbue our lives with pleasure and purpose. Her still lifes extend this exploration to personal possessions and human-made objects re-contextualised with natural materials and flora. Music, writing, and design are her other energetic outlets, as well as experimental spaces to further translate the world of her visual art.

Monika started out professionally as a print graphic designer working in publications, then transitioned to art/creative direction and production. She began working in the fashion industry full-time as a e-commerce stylist, art director and photographer in 2020. She is currently making moves in silence, and flexing on you hoes.

For what it’s worth, she holds a Master of Science degree in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from the University of British Columbia. Monika’s work has appeared in Complex, Vogue North America, Los Angeles Times, STPS Magazine, the Arc’teryx website and brand stores, the collective unconscious, and other places, too.
